O nata lux, Advent 3, St. Dominic's Catholic Church
The Schola Cantorum of St. Dominic's Catholic Church, San Francisco, Simon Berry, director, will be singing my setting of O nata lux for the Communion motet this coming Sunday, 15 December at the 11:30am Solemn Choral Mass. Midwest Band Clinic I will be attending Midwest Band Clinic in Chicago this month! I look forward to running into old friends from my time at UW Stevens Point, and forming new friendships with musicians from my Midwest "homestead". The trip is also providing me with a good reason to make some updates to my website, including offering digital, self-published scores available for purchase. Please feel free to contact with any requests! |

The orchestration was done expertly with the guidance of Boulanger specialists, Joseph Stillwell and Stefan Cwik with oversight by David Conte." — Broadway World In 2024, Catapult Opera, Neal Goren director, in conjunction with Green National Opera, gave the long-awaited premiere of the newly commissioned chamber orchestration of Nadia Boulanger's opera La Ville Morte. I was thrilled to collaborate with longtime friend and colleague Stefan Cwik, with oversight from our mentor David Conte. I am honored and deeply gratified to have been part of this monumental production, and to have this connection with Boulanger's artistic legacy, which is a core part of my artistic and pedagogical identity.
