A word of advice about solfege: really review SS Units 3, 4, & beginning of 5A to prepare for Wednesday. Music Theory will be held 8:30 on Wednesday. Music Theory Homework: Workbook 10-1 is due Wednesday. 10-2 will be due Monday Nov 2. We will do an example or two in class Wednesday, so be sure to have 10-2 printed to get a head start on that homework. Musicianship for Monday:

SS 5A.1--5A.9 HR 6.I S&P No. 6, whichever one you didn't do last week Friday. Music Theory for Monday Worksheet 10-1. Write in Roman numerals and bass lines for each example. If the bass is given, simply provide a Roman numeral plan. You may be asked to give your solution in the board. Bracket areas of tonic or dominant expansion, and label the arrival at the cadence as "Pre," "Dom," & "Ton." Musicianship Unit 2 Exam Details Part 1: Rhythm and Solfege Evaluation Wednesday, October 28th. 10-minute time slots. Sign up on sheet for a time. Rhythm HR 6.J Longy Rhythm Sheet: Four Equal Parts Column. Speak on numbers while tapping four beat pattern on lap. Prepared Solfege Prepare the Soprano, Alto, and, Tenor for Chorale No. 46. I will ask you to sing one or more parts, while I play the bass. Sing on fixed-do syllables. Sing & Play No. 7 Prepare the first example only.
